Music is energy and joy of life!
That is what I want to convey with my concerts and workshops.
I was born in Nigeria, grew up in Ghana and Nigeria (Uvwie in Delta State) and belong to the Urhobo people. My family is one of those old, traditional families that are responsible for maintaining cultural life in the region. I grew up with music and dance and played the festival drums at the annual ‘Festival of Water’ as a teenager.
In addition to music, I am interested in history and politics, because:
„If you don’t know where you come from you don’t know where you ‚re going“.
